Volunteer With Us

We always welcome a new volunteer! The Village Hall would not be able to continue running without a whole team. There are many ways you can volunteer - giving as much or as little time that you have. It can be regular, it can be flexible - what ever you can offer will be gratefully received.

Ways to Volunteer

* As a trustee - this would require attendance at a monthly meeting on the last Monday of every month (apart from December). A trustee plays a vital role in the decision making and monitoring of the smooth running of the hall. Commitment is expected beyond meetings to carry out actions raised at meetings.

*As a regular volunteer - if you are unable to fully commit to being a trustee, then a regular volunteer might be more suited to you. In this role you could support the events that the committee run, help with building and ground maintenance, grant sourcing, etc - the opportunities are endless!

*As a casual volunteer - we try to put on many events for the community throughout the year and these events cannot run without the support of casual volunteers. You could offer occasional help in the organisation, running and clear up of events including poster distribution and advertising. We are also always in need of maintenance support and gardening of the grounds. In this role you have flexibility to opt in and out of events to suit your lifestyle.
